We've recently rolled out a number of changes to filings.xbrl.org, including some important changes to the API: 1. The API now includes a "published" field which is the date at which the authority received or published the filing, where available. Not all sources have this, and the exact meaning may vary between different sources. 2. We recently automated the ingestion of a number additional filing sources, including Spain, Norway, Portugal and Sweden, and we're in the process of back-filling filings from these sources. 3. We now provide static copies of the filings index. For example, all filings with a 2025 period end are available here: https://filings.xbrl.org/indexes/filings-2025.json If you're trying to maintain your own index of all filings, please use these files rather than API. The "Last-Modified" header on these files should accurately record when they last changed, so you can check for updates very efficiently. Please see the API documentation: https://filings.xbrl.org/docs/api#index-files 4. If you're making regular use of our API, please set a user agent that identifies you, including either an email address, or a link to where we can find one. This will allow us to contact you rather than just blocking or rate-limiting you in the event of problems. filings.xbrl.org is proving increasingly popular, and whilst we don't currently prescribe any specific usage limits, we are seeing clients that are unreasonably aggressive, repetitive or inefficient. We recently completed the planned overhaul of filings.xbrl.org . As a result a few things have changed: * The index.json file is no longer being updated with new filings. There is a new API available here: https://filings.xbrl.org/api/filings The new API supports pagination, filtering and sorting, and follows the JSON:API standard (jsonapi.org). What it doesn't have yet is any documentation. I'm working on this, but in the meantime feel free to drop me a mail if you have any questions. * filings.xbrl.org now makes greater use of hashes (sha256sums) to uniquely identify filings. For example, this filing: https://filings.xbrl.org/filing/213800MC2SGVSIBN7J53-2021-12-31-ESEF-DK-0 was filed in both Denmark and Norway, and therefore the filings on filings.xbrl.org are cross-linked. * Where possible, we also include links to relevant URLs on the OAM's site where we obtained the filing. * A list of sources, and count of filings per country is available here: https://filings.xbrl.org/source * We recently added Slovenia to the growing list of countries that we ingest filings from automatically. We still see a small number of filings with embarrassing errors the core data that we use to build our index, such as filings for reporting periods thousands of years in the future, or with completely the wrong LEI. Where this happens, we will generally hide them from the index on the front page to avoid confusion, but they can still be found elsewhere on the site. I hope you're continuing to find filings.xbrl.org a useful resource. filings.xbrl.org was originally put together very quickly in 2021 as an experiment to make ESEF filings more readily accessible. Since then, both the number of filings that we've managed to ingest, and the amount of interest in the site, have considerably exceeded expectations, and the technical foundations on which it is built need a significant overhaul in order to cope with the upcoming 2023 filing season. With that in mind, now would be a great time to hear any feature requests or suggested improvements that you may have for the site. It would also be very useful to have more details of how the repository is being used today, so if you are making active use of it we'd be very interested to hear from you.
